Rene Marie Russo has been an actress, supermodel as well as a film maker in the United States. In addition to her graceful appearance, her steady success in the competitive film industry can be attributed to her talents as an actor. Her career began modeling in the 70s, and quickly became one of the most well-known figures in modeling. In the early 1980s, she took acting classes, and was a theater student before performing on the stages in Los Angeles. Russo began her film debut on ABCs drama series Sable in 1987 portraying the role of Eden Kendell. In her first feature film Major League two years after she played Tom Berengers romantic interest. But, as she admits she's never really been a passionate in acting. She was in 2005 when she was to a break, which was self-imposed. Her comeback was a part in Thor. In addition, she starred in Nightcrawler which was her husband's Oscar Award winning film. The Intern and Just Getting Started are two films with a lighthearted tone in which she starred.
Rose Namajunas is one of the most successful female athletes within the UFC. She began her professional career as an amateur athlete participating in various regional promotion prior to signing with Invicta Fighting Championships. And after that, she signed with Ultimate Fighting Championships. Her success in and out in the Octagon has helped make her famous since she was a part of the UFC. Namajunas was born June 29th, 1992 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to a Lithuanian immigrant family. Rose participated in kickboxing and basketball throughout her childhood. Invicta Fighting Championships was signed by the 18-year-old at the age of 18, and she was able to take home two fights by submission. Dana White, who was watching her closely at that time, signed her into the UFC strawweight division in December 2014. She was just turning 22. Rose's career has seen extremes, as well as lows but she's always capable of coming out of the fight on top. In April of 2015, Rose was a part of the fight against Carla Esparza for the inaugural Women s Strawweight Championship at The Ultimate Fighter 20 Finale in which she was victorious by technical knockout less than 3 minutes in Round One which resulted in not only winning the title but also getting the honor of being named Fighter Of The Night along with creating history within MMA since this match was the for the first time in history that women was a champion in any of the major promotions around the world . Namajunas kept winning more victories, including two wins over Joanna Jedrzejczyk that earned her Performance of the Night from UFC.
